In recent years, there have been drastic transformations in the agricultural landscape of eastern Polish. The progressive change in the character of the village and the evolution in the methods of cultivation and breeding have brought many negative effects on the population of birds inhabiting this environment. The author will present photos showing the climate of a traditional village and birds shown in the context of old landscapes. At the same time, it will show how to preserve bird populations of areas open for future generations. So it will be a bit of a nostalgic trip to the past and at the same time a sober look into the future.
