Regulations of The 5-10-15 Race

PATRONAGE AND ORGANIZERS

1. The organizers of The 5-10-15 Run are:
   • -Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Ełk
   • -Under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Ełk and the City Council of Ełk
   • -Warmian-Masurian Marshal's Office

DATE AND PLACE

1. -Run 5-10-15 will take place on August 28, 2022 at 11.00 in Ełk.
2. -Start and finish were set at the Center for Environmental Education in Ełk.
3. -The length of the route is 5, 10 and 15 km.
4. -The route creates a closed loop and runs along the promenade at the Ełk Lake, Zamkowa Street (asphalt – 20%, cube – 80%). The loop is 5 kilometers long. Competitors running for 5 km overcome the loop 1 time, competitors running for 10 km overcome the loop 2 times, and competitors running for 15 km overcome the loop 3 times.
5. -The route will have all kilometers marked: from 1 to 15.
6. -There will be nutrition points on the route.

COMPETITION OFFICE
-On August 28, the Competition Office of Run 5-10-15 will be located in the Ecological Education Center, at 12 Parkowa Street – in the vicinity of the City Beach in Ełk.

COMPETITION PROGRAM

1. 8:00 – 10:15 – accepting applications and issuing starting numbers,
2. 11:00 – ceremonial opening of the race
3. 11:00 – start of the race at all distances
4. 12:00 – picnic
5. 12:45 – closing ceremony (award ceremony)

PARTICIPATION

1. -Run 5-10-15 is open to people who will be 18 years of age by 27 August 2022. Minors may take part after obtaining the written consent of their legal guardian.
2. -At the time of registration, competitors are required to submit proof of identity at the request of the organizer.
3. -The condition for starting in Run 5-10-15 is the entry of the competitor by 28 August 2022 at 10:15 by:
   • -sending by 24 August 2022 at 12:00 p.m. a correctly completed on-line application form
   • -filling in the application form at the Competition Office on August 28, 2022 and:
   • -signing a statement of ability to participate in the race with your own hands
   • -payment of the appropriate entry fee. The fee once paid is non-refundable. No fee results in deletion from the starting list.
   • -The entry fee, depending on the date of payment, is:
   • -PLN 40 – until 10 August 2022
   • -PLN 50 – from 11 to 29 August 2022
4. -Verification of competitors, issuing packages and starting numbers will take place in the Competition Office, which will be located in the Ecological Education Center in Ełk at 12 Parkowa Street.
5. -Giving your starting number to another person will result in the disqualification of the competitor.
6. -Players insure themselves on their own. The organizer does not insure the competitors for the duration of the competition and is not responsible for things left outside the locker room or designated place.
7. -Acceptance of the starting number is tantamount to acceptance of these regulations and safety conditions on the route of the run.
8. -Competitors taking part in the competition are obliged to comply with the traffic rules and observe all precautions – overcoming the route on city roads they use a specially designated part of the roadway – in a place where the road is excluded from traffic only partially, they are particularly careful when sticking to the right side of the road do not run to the left side – they absolutely carry out all orders issued by the police and security services, which coordinate and secure the route of the competition – competitors apply the Fair Play principle during the run.
9. -The condition for classifying the competitor is to run along the approved route of the Run and finish the run within the statutory time of 2 hours. Competitors who do not finish the race by 12:45 p.m. are obliged to stop the run and reach the finish line with a vehicle with the inscription "End of the Run". Whoever remains on the route after this time is their own responsibility, in accordance with the applicable traffic regulations and the Civil Code.
10. -You can choose from distances – 5 km, 10 km and 15 km. Competitors decide for themselves what distance they run.
11. -Start at all distances is common.
12. -The limit of participants is 200 people.

CLOAKROOM AND STORAGE

1. -The cloakroom and clothing storage on August 28, 2022 will be located in the Ecological Education Center in Ełk at 12 Parkowa Street.
2. -The cloakroom and storage room will accept the players' personal belongings packed in bags (provided by the organizer during verification). The cloakroom and storage room will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Issuing bags from the deposit will take place upon presentation of the starting number. Losing the starting number by the competitor releases the organizer from responsibility for taking the bag by another person.

CLASSIFICATION
In Run 5-10-15 the following classifications will be conducted:

• -general classification of women and men in the 5 km race – material prizes will be awarded to the first 3 women and the first 3 men
• -general classification of women and men in the 10 km race – material prizes will be awarded to the first 3 women and the first 3 men
• -general classification of women and men in the 15 km race – material prizes will be awarded to the first 3 women and the first 3 men

AWARDS

1. -Each of the competitors who finishes the race in the statutory time will receive a commemorative medal.
2. -Winners in the general classifications (items 1-3) will receive cups, material prizes from the sponsors of the race.
3. -After the end of the run, there will be a draw for small prizes among all participants.

NUTRITION
After completing the race at the finish line, the competitors will receive drinks and a regenerative meal.

FINANCING
The costs of organizing The 5-10-15 Run are covered by:

• -Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Ełk
• -Ełk City Hall
• -The Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship is a partner of the project.

FINAL PROVISIONS

1. -All participants take part in The 5-10-15 Run start on their own responsibility and will not make any claims against the organizers in the event of random events occurring during the event.
2. -The organizers reserve the right to change the regulations, about which they are obliged to inform all participants before the start of the event.
3. -Any disputes arising from these regulations will be considered by an appeal team appointed by the organizer of the competition.
